Options - T-Tops Aftermarket - Many modifications to the car over the winter of 1994: TRD Braided Stainless-Steel Brake Lines, TRD Bushings, TRD Racing Springs w/Progressive Struts/Anti-Sway Bars, TRD Short-Throw Shift Kit, MOMO Steering Wheel, Trust Muffler/HKS Mid-pipe/TRD Header, TRD Motor Mounts, TRD Strut Support Assemblies, Bronze Valve Guides, Leaf 5-point racing harness. Motor rebuild over the winter of 1996 due to collapsed ring lands, probably due to a combination of numerous track days (meaning hitting 7,000 RPM many, many times) and possibly running lean at some point. Among other "minor" upgrades are the following: 6.5x15" Milano Spoke Alloy Wheels, K&N filter, Amsoil gear oil in the gearbox, Amsoil 20W-50 Racing Oil, Ford Heavy Duty Brake Fluid (use same for clutch), Ford Supercharger Oil Previous History - Original owner installed oversized supercharger pulley and HKS exhaust system. Any Damage - Misc Notes - In 1994, my MR2 and I took second in class (B/SS) in the Solo I series in Southern Ontario, Canada, behind a BMW M5!!! This car is incredible! I can't believe my luck in being able to purchase a car so well looked after. And to think I almost passed on the deal! This year (1997) I will be adding a full Jacobs ignition set and carbon fiber brake pads. A bigger and more efficient intercooler may be in the works, too This car was sold to Doug Love |
